Parts Manager - Land Rover Raleigh
Principal Purpose of Position
Manages all aspects of parts department operations
Offers and ensures that the store offers the highest level of customer service
Returns a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory
Develops and maintains proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising
Promotes parts standards for superior customer, employee, and dealership management

Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of parts department operations
- Offers and ensures that the store offers the highest level of customer service
- Returns a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory
- Develops and maintains proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising
- Promotes parts standards for superior customer, employee, and dealership management
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- College degree preferred and 5+ years of related experience or training
- Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dealership parts experience in various aspects of the parts department which may include some or all of the following: Shipping/receiving, Parts counter sales, (Wholesale, retail or shop)
- Assistant manager or similar related work; working knowledge of car repair and customer engagement
- Experienced in parts principles, concepts and department operations
Qualifications
Education and/or Training: High School diploma or GED; College degree preferred and 5+ years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
