Parts Manager-Land Rover Peabody, MA

Responsibilities

• Directs outside parts, wholesale and counter sales efforts
• Develops department sales promotions and advertising
• Maintains a balanced inventory across Service, Body Shop, Wholesale and individual customers
• Manages parts inventory turnover and minimizes parts obsolescence
• Hires, trains, coaches and motivates all Parts Department team members
• Promotes a high-quality level of service to all customers – both internal and external
• Makes daily reports such as DOE, DOC and sales productivity

Requirements

• (3) years of experience managing all day-to-day aspects of an automotive parts department
• Goal oriented, self-motivated, well organized with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Manage daily interactions with all dealership departments
• Able to build & maintain strong working relationships with department managers and colleagues
• Experienced with CDK and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) a plus
