About the role
Provides consultation to service technicians and customers, researches hard-to-find parts, and maintains appropriate inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Research hard-to-find parts
- Maintain appropriate levels of parts kept in stock
- Place and track parts orders
- Receive shipments and stock parts
- Keep units and equipment secure from weather
- Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
- Demonstrate operation of newly installed equipment
- Perform related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level
- Maintain a safe work area for customers and coworkers
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-3 years of parts experience in RV, Auto, or Marine industry (a plus)
- Working knowledge of shop activities, methods, procedures, and policies
- Comprehensive product knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift experience/certification preferred or ability to be certified
- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
- Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the total annual compensation range (base pay + variable compensation) is $50,000 - $80,000 or more. This is a variable pay role with uncapped variable pay.
