About the role
The Parts Specialist position will be vital in maintaining critical parts for our customers. You will pull and pack parts orders, ship, receive, and stock parts received via company shuttle, truck freight, and UPS, and prepare outgoing components for our truck, common carrier, and shuttle. Responsibilities include performing all related warehouse duties, such as accurate counting, receiving, and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses.
Responsibilities
- Pull and pack parts orders
- Ship, receive, and stock parts via company shuttle, truck freight, and UPS
- Prepare outgoing components for truck, common carrier, and shuttle
- Perform accurate counting, receiving, and shipping of parts
- Receive stock and account for warranty items
- Build hoses
- Assist with receiving parts calls and greeting walk-in customers
- Complete all related paperwork
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to perform basic duties including accurate counting, receiving/shipping parts, processing warranty items, and building hoses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to provide optimal customer care
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, pulling up to 50 lbs
- Frequent repetitive motions requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
- Normal dexterity
- Frequent standing, sitting, and movement up and down stairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Noise levels vary: quiet in office settings, moderate to loud in other areas, with potential for sudden loud noises
