The ideal candidate has an inter-disciplinary understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls engineering.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, with at least 5–7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and/or power generation industry.
  • Knowledge of systems including Lube Oil, Air, Instrumentation, Control, and Hydraulic systems.

  • Experience with Gas Turbine products and Aero engine products is preferable.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems, as well as Siemens AGT products and packages, is preferable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce, PLM2020, and OnePM.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) and communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Positive, proactive mindset and a detail-oriented approach to ensure all parts of a solution come together and work as intended.

Skills

  • Analytical skills to foresee potential issues with parts suggested by OEMs.
  • Excellent communication and multilingual skills, particularly when dealing with suppliers and team members from different regions who may or may not be proficient in English.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Methodological, structured, and systematic approach to responsibilities, ensuring clarity, precision, and comprehensiveness.
  • Professional presentability, maintaining respectful and effective interactions with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Innovative thinking, bringing creative solutions inspired by inventive ingenuity.
  • Digitalization and automation orientation is an added advantage.
