About the role

At Landscapers Supply, our Parts & Service team is the heartbeat of our operation. When contractors, landscapers, and homeowners need equipment repaired fast or the right part to keep a job moving, they rely on us — and this role is a huge part of making that happen.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for service customers
  • Provide friendly, professional updates throughout the repair process
  • Help customers identify and order the correct parts
  • Recommend substitutions or solutions when needed
  • Create a positive, helpful customer experience customers will remember
  • Procure, receive, stock, and organize parts inventory
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through organization and cycle counts
  • Support team members with parts lookup and customer assistance
  • Match incoming parts to repair orders
  • Prepare equipment for technicians once parts arrive
  • Perform basic shop tasks such as:
    • Blade sharpening
    • Tire repairs
    • Equipment assembly
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
  • Follow company procedures and workflow systems
  • Communicate backorders, delays, and service updates
  • Assist with warranty claims and service documentation
  • Support department efficiency goals and KPIs

Requirements

  • Experience with equipment parts and/or service operations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of engines or outdoor power equipment
  • Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and perform shop-related tasks
  • Experience with outdoor power equipment or handheld equipment
  • Familiarity with:
    • Parts lookup systems
    • Vendor ordering processes
    • Equipment troubleshooting
