Parts Counterperson - CAT Dealership
About the role
Join the Wiese USA team in the parts department of our local material handling equipment dealership. You will purchase, store, inventory, and issue spare parts for industrial equipment, providing replacement forklift and other industrial equipment parts to both external customers and our company’s Service Technicians.
This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal communication are essential.
As a team member, you will promote our vision, cultural values, and safety guidelines while supporting Wiese’s leadership in the material handling equipment and service industry. Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and your team is a priority.
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase parts (including sourcing without VINs)
- Consult with customers in both a sales and advisory capacity, providing all needed parts
- Ensure all parts are fully stocked
- Keep Service Technicians supplied with all necessary parts
- Conduct regular inventory counts
- Handle all duties related to shipping and receiving of parts
- Perform regular record management
- Manage all returns and warranty issues
