Full-time Parts Counterperson position with excellent career growth, ongoing training, and competitive pay starting at $52,000/yr, increasing with experience. 2 years of automotive parts experience required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from estimators and production manager inquiries to finding the part to invoicing the customers.
- Complete order part requests for any parts needed for repairs.
- Communicate with estimators, technicians, and managers on the status of ordered parts and notify them upon delivery.
- Check in all parts as orders arrive.
- Pick parts when jobs come in and verify counts with technicians.
- Return all unused parts.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of temperature conditions, including hot and cold environments.
- Experience with auto parts sales required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Proficient with computer skills is preferred.
