Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Assist customers and technicians with locating and ordering parts
- Work with the Parts Manager to source parts not currently in stock
- Complete special-order part requests for customers
- Communicate with customers regarding parts availability and order status
- Maintain accurate inventory and organized work areas
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous auto parts experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and strong work ethic
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
