Parts Counterperson

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, stocking, picking and shipping
  • Assisting with packing and unpacking parts
  • Responding quickly to technicians' parts requests
  • Researching and locating products
  • Running various inventory reports in order to maintain proper inventory
  • Professional handling of phones and counter sales as needed
  • Effectively communicating with employees, customers, managers, vendors, and the public

Qualifications

  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Positive, friendly attitude while providing exceptional customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience With Auto Parts Sales (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
