Parts Counter Representative

Responsibilities

• Completes purchase orders and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Utilizes industry data – including manuals and electronic data – to determine specific parts needed by customers, as well as provides diagnostic assistance to customers.
• Contact vendors to order parts.
• Review invoices to ensure parts received accurately reflect parts ordered on original requisition forms.
• Maintain records of parts received and distributed; inventory parts in warehouse periodically.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college/technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
