Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while keeping them informed about special orders, back orders, and handling returns.
• Accurately process parts orders, ensuring correct parts are selected and available for customers while adhering to delivery timelines.
• Locate and secure parts from various vendors for shop jobs, demonstrating a proactive approach to fulfilling customer orders.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and service technicians, guiding them in selecting the right parts for their needs.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive customer experiences.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
• 3 years of automotive or truck parts-related experience.
• Ability to identify common commodity parts.
• Experience performing accurate cycle-counts and ordering/checking-in parts orders.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Frequently required to bend, squat, kneel, crawl/lay on back, reach away from body or shoulder height, climb or balance.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
