Parts Counter Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily parts department operations
• Oversee inventory levels, stock orders, special orders, and returns
• Ensure technicians and customers receive parts quickly and accurately
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
• Create schedules and manage department productivity
• Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Build strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and customer-focused department
• Work closely with service, sales, and accounting teams to support dealership operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Parts Manager experience
• Automotive dealership parts experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience with inventory control and ordering
• Computer proficiency; DMS experience preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
