Parts Counter

Job Summary

Kenworth of DC in Landover is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to assist customers in finding and purchasing truck parts. This role involves coordinating and selling parts to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in selecting required parts
• Up-selling specials and informing customers of companion part requirements
• Providing price quotes, receiving payments, and obtaining credit authorizations
• Following up with customers regarding back-ordered parts
• Familiarizing with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and applying them in daily activities
• Cooking any procurement of necessary parts in conjunction with the assistant parts manager
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Heavy duty experience is a plus
