Role Overview

The Parts Counter Advisor serves as a key connection between our Parts Department, Service Department, and retail customers. In this role, you'll assist technicians and customers in identifying, sourcing, and ordering automotive parts while delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Aid technicians and customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories
• Fulfill internal parts requests promptly to support efficient shop operations
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts inquiries professionally
• Research part numbers and availability using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems
• Process parts orders, invoices, and transactions accurately
• Maintain organized inventory and assist with stocking and inventory control
• Cook up special orders and communicate updates to customers and service staff
• Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers
• Follow dealership policies and procedures regarding parts handling and sales

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts, retail parts, or dealership experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram parts is a plus

Corporate Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
