About the role
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by managing the ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning of parts for repair orders. They play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of parts to meet production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Communicate customer requests and needs to relevant team members.
- Order and receive parts from vendors, verifying their quality, correctness, and quantity.
- Enter invoices into the management information system (MIS).
- Label and track parts by repair order number and store them with the vehicle or scheduled repairs.
- Communicate parts price changes to team members.
- Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS, monitor vendor performance, and reconcile invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting and filing of invoices and credit memos.
- Manage vendor invoices to maintain proper profit margins.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts preferred).
- Customer service-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of vehicle repairs practices and management information systems (Summit, Repair Centre).
- Skills in communication, computer proficiency, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).
