Parts Cordinator

About the role

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by managing the ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning of parts for repair orders. They play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of parts to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate customer requests and needs to relevant team members.
• Order and receive parts from vendors, verifying their quality, correctness, and quantity.
• Enter invoices into the management information system (MIS).
• Label and track parts by repair order number and store them with the vehicle or scheduled repairs.
• Communicate parts price changes to team members.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS, monitor vendor performance, and reconcile invoices.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting and filing of invoices and credit memos.
• Manage vendor invoices to maintain proper profit margins.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts preferred).
• Customer service-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of vehicle repairs practices and management information systems (Summit, Repair Centre).
• Skills in communication, computer proficiency, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Pay

$16 - 23 / Hour. Supplemental pay is available based on individual or business initiatives.
