Essential Job Functions
- Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
- Report problems with the FSMS to responsible managerial employees to initiate corrective actions.
- Ability to perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers.
- Able to troubleshoot machinery for malfunctions (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, & pneumatic).
- Able to perform maintenance on all production supporting equipment (i.e. glycol system, RO system, Compressed Air system, lubrication systems, chemical distribution systems).
- Complete, document, and retrieve final approvals on all assigned work orders to include recording all utilized part numbers for inventory purposes.
- Communicate effectively and completely all relevant maintenance and production related information from shift to relieving shift.
- Able to assist in training other maintenance personnel.
- Able to communicate with production during periods of downtime.
- Able to work collaboratively with all adjacent teams to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvement.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of GMPs.
- Understanding of Food Safety Requirements.
- Must be able to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
- Work without supervision.
- Good decision making/problem solving skills.
- Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Education and Experience
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years previous maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
Working Conditions
- Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evening, and overnight may be required.
- Overtime scheduled as needed.
- Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts.
- Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold.
- The environment is structured and supervised.

- Occasionally (16-45%) - Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently (46-100%) - Lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying weight, lifting

- Visual/Sensory: This position requires attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time.
- Coordination and Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise control of equipment.
- Mental Stress: There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands.
