About the role
Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Parts Coordinator for the Detroit Metro area location.
Responsibilities
- Provide part to customer from stock, procure locally or create a parts order as directed
- Monitor the status of customer orders, advising in case of problems and notifying upon arrival
- Inventory control maintenance
- Capable of loading and unloading of freight with forklift
- Knowledge and able to ship and accept freight from motor carriers, UPS or FedEx
Requirements
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Driver must do daily deliveries to customers throughout service area
- Heavy lifting required
- Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
