Parts Coordinator

About the role

Champion Home Builders, Inc wants you! We are seeking to hire a Parts Coordinator to join our team in our manufacturing facility in Lake City, FL.

Responsibilities

- Review each service order for the correct parts. - Gather parts needed for the service work order. - Track and return items that are defective to vendors for a refund. - File completed work orders and returned vendor paperwork.

Qualifications

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Manufactured housing industry experience is desired. - High School Graduate or equivalent training or experience. - Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Preferred Education and/or Experience

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will be working at a rapid pace within the production line. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
