Key Responsibilities
- Aid customers in person and over the phone, answering questions about parts, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Sell parts to customers, provide quotes, and close sales.
- Take customer orders via third-party websites, verify part availability, and order parts through order software.
- Locate out-of-stock parts and ensure their prompt delivery.
- Process returns by locating the correct vendor, contacting the vendor for authorizations, and creating parts return paperwork in the software.
- Assist with inventory tracking, shelving, and storage.
- Contact customers to provide updates on order status, deliveries, and any issues that may arise.
- Handle inquiries and resolve customer issues.
- Use inventory management systems, order entry software, and other relevant programs.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, stocking, and technician assistance as needed.
Required Skills
- Customer Service: Demonstrate friendliness, helpfulness, and patience with customers.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle components, systems, and their functions, particularly forklift systems and parts.
- Sales Skills: Effectively communicate the benefits of parts, negotiate prices, and close sales.
- Communication Skills: Clearly and accurately communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Organizational Skills: Manage inventory and organize orders through third-party vendors.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Troubleshoot issues, locate parts, and resolve customer inquiries.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficient in using inventory management systems and other relevant software.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, reach for items on shelves, and move around the warehouse.
Pay
Gets paid weekly through Direct Deposit.
Schedule
8 hour shift Monday to Friday.
