Parts Advisor

About the role

The Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in the Parts Department, supporting customers, technicians, and service advisors with parts requests. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, computer skills, and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors with parts requests in a professional and timely manner
• Research, identify, and accurately specify automotive parts and accessories
• Answer incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and orders
• Cook up with the service department to ensure technicians have the parts they need to complete repairs efficiently
• Order parts from manufacturers and suppliers based on customer and service department demands
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory
• Process invoices, payments, warranties, returns, and core credits accurately
• Maintain inventory records and support cycle counts and inventory control processes
• Keep the parts department organized, clean, and customer-focused
• Deliver a premium experience consistent with the Cadillac brand

Requirements

• Apartments parts experience preferred
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Basic math skills for invoices, inventory, and transactions
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• 18 years or older
