Brex’s Accounting Channel is undergoing exponential growth, and we are looking for a Partner Manager to accelerate this momentum. In this role, you’ll shape and expand our market presence by forging powerful alliances within the accounting and OCFO ecosystems. You’ll build relationships, cultivate partnerships from the ground up, integrate new partners into our ecosystem, and transform these connections into a steady stream of client referrals.
Where you’ll work
This role is based in our San Francisco office. We operate in a hybrid environment, blending the energy of in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. We require a minimum of three coordinated in-office days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and offer up to four weeks per year of fully remote work as a perk.
Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and deepen relationships with high-potential accounting firms
- Craft and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for each partner
- Facilitate smooth onboarding of new partners and their teams
- Drive client referrals from accounting partners to fuel Brex’s revenue growth
- Serve as a product expert, articulating Brex’s value proposition to partners
- Act as the connective tissue between partners and the Brex ecosystem
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform the product roadmap
- Conduct regular performance reviews with key partners
- Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within accounting firms
- Become an expert in Brex’s product, features, and workflows, and amplify the voice of our Accounting Partners
Requirements
- 3+ years in a closing sales or partnerships role
- Demonstrated track record of consistently hitting targets and quotas
- Ability to identify client needs through thoughtful questioning, active listening, and analysis, including shared mutual referral goals, enablement sessions, and MBR/QBRs
- Ability to deliver tailored, consultative solutions that align with partners’ needs and business goals
- Strong ability to evaluate partnership performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement data-driven solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on active listening
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
- Proven ability to build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders
- Passion for community events and activations with partners
Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with accounting firms (bonus)
- Accounting background (CPA certification or relevant industry experience is a plus)
Pay
The expected OTE range for this role is $135,600 - $169,500. The starting wage depends on factors such as the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. OTE includes base salary and commissions, which may vary based on performance. Equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total package.
