About the role

AI is changing how consumers discover brands and Linkby is positioned at the heart of that shift. Our platform places brand content within premium publisher articles that are indexed, trusted, and increasingly surfaced by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop partnerships with DTC brands and digital marketing agencies, leading with Linkby's AI Visibility and organic discoverability value proposition
  • Translate AI search and brand discovery concepts into compelling sales narratives for brand and agency stakeholders
  • Educate partners on how Linkby drives contextual relevance and AI-driven brand discovery
  • Own the full client lifecycle including prospecting, close, onboarding, campaign management, and upsell
  • Drive retention through proactive performance reviews and strategic account management
  • Attend industry events and digital marketing networking functions in your local market

Requirements

  • 3+ years in SEO, search marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing; agency experience preferred but in-house also considered
  • Strong conceptual understanding of how AI search and generative engines are changing brand discovery; hands-on SEO execution experience is a great foundation, not a day-to-day requirement of the role
  • Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews and how brands are thinking about visibility in these environments
  • Full-cycle experience: comfortable both winning new business and managing accounts post-close
  • Self-starter mentality; comfortable owning pipeline, accounts, and performance in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in digital advertising, affiliate marketing, native content, or adtech is a plus
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and prospecting tools

Qualifications

  • Must be based in Southern California or Colorado and legally authorized to work in The United States.

Pay

$85,000-$100,000 base salary, based on experience

Schedule

Remote role with occasional team WeWork days
