TAAF serves the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community by promoting safety, fostering belonging, and advancing prosperity. About The Role
The Partnerships Associate plays a critical role in supporting the execution, operations, and performance of our partnerships and development efforts. This position sits at the intersection of partnerships, development, events, and operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, accurate data management, effective research, and timely support for internal teams and external partners. Ideal candidates enjoy building systems, supporting cross-functional teams, and contributing to streamlined processes.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a related field of study or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of experience in project management, development, operations, and/or finance
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining databases
Skills
- Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Familiarity with a customer relationship management (CRM) system such as Salesforce
- Exceptional attention to detail and task follow-through
- Ability to manage a variety of projects and special events with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Respect for the sensitive and confidential nature of donor-related information and materials
- Mature judgment in handling donor concerns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Working Hours, Location & Schedule
- In-Office Days: Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our New York City office
- Remote Days: Mondays and Fridays offer work-from-home flexibility
- Travel: Occasional travel to provide hands-on support for live events, conferences, and key team activities
- Requires occasional weekend, off-hours, or evening work
Benefits
The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) is committed to salary transparency and pay equity. The hiring range for this position is $79,600 - $89,550, carefully benchmarked against the market to ensure competitiveness. Final offers are determined through a structured analysis of relevant experience, skills, and role scope to ensure internal pay equity.
