Partnerships and Outreach Specialist, Enterprise and Procurement Services
About the Role
We are seeking a Partnerships and Outreach Specialist to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. Together, we are building stronger communities by getting students and colleges the resources they need to succeed and expanding pathways to economic and social mobility across California.
This is a remote position within California; you must reside in California. The role requires 20% travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach, engagement, and communication strategies that increase awareness of and contribute to growing FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs.
- Serve as a proactive program ambassador, cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with key program partners (vendors, community college districts, K-12 districts, institutes of higher education, cities and counties), and internal teams to improve and expand existing programs.
- Plan and execute regular outreach for existing partners, tracking utilization of our program(s) and identifying areas for increased partnership.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing efforts to increase systemwide program adoption and utilization, including in-person presentations, outreach at conferences, attendance at networking events, hosting in-person and virtual workshops, and developing a newsletter and other promotional campaigns.
- Establish fluency with program contracts to increase contract utilization by community college districts, K-12 districts, institutes of higher education, cities, counties, and other public agencies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive related work experience, at least one (1) of which is in an outreach-driven, external-facing sales, account management, or customer service environment.
- Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
- Familiarity with California public education internal decision-making processes relative to procurement of institutional needs.
- Understanding of effective relationship development, direct outreach, and/or sales strategies.

Pay
Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range: $73,000.00 - $75,000.00. Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
