Partnership Services Intern (University of Maryland)
About the role
Maryland Sports Properties is seeking a Partnership Services/Gameday Intern to support operations and enhance the fan experience at University of Maryland athletic events.
Responsibilities
- Assist full-time Client Services and Sales staff with day-to-day tasks to ensure the success of university sports properties
- Aid in the execution of all hospitality elements and events (game days and non-game days)
- Compile partner recaps and proof of performance
- Research potential corporate partners and monitor industry trends
- Absorb digital and social media proof of performance
- Support year-end partnership recaps
- Represent Playfly Sports, Maryland Sports Properties, and the University in a professional manner
- Perform game day tasks, including set up and breakdown, on-site promotions, and on-field presentation fulfillment
- Track, maintain, and organize game day inventory
- Provide high-quality customer service and communication
Requirements
- Must be a full-time student at the University of Maryland
- Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and willingness to participate in multiple events
- Responsible, motivated, and comfortable interacting with fans, partners, and other vendors
- Must be able to work a minimum of 5 - 10 office hours a week
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Must have reliable transportation

Benefits
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
Pay
The Base Pay Range For This Role Is $14 - $15 USD
Schedule
Must be able to work a minimum of 5 - 10 office hours a week
