Partnership Manager Palestine

NRC is looking for a Partnership Manager to join the Palestine mission. The role holder will lead the country office’s partnership portfolio, provide strategic leadership to its localisation agenda, and represent NRC in partnership coordination forums.

Responsibilities

• Implement the localisation strategy.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for partnership programming, integrating partnerships throughout the project cycle management process.
• Develop and maintain partnerships systems, tools, guidelines, and procedures.
• Lead partner organisation capacity sharing, including identifying priorities, developing joint capacity sharing plans, and monitoring progress.
• Build and develop relationships with local NGOs, civil society organisations, national and local actors, public institutions, academia, and the private sector.
• Manage partnerships in line with NRC policies, humanitarian principles, donor requirements, and partnership standards.
• Provide people leadership, including performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, staff induction, staff development, and duty of care.
• Represent NRC in relevant partnership coordination platforms.
• Actively promote safeguarding and anti-corruption standards and principles.

Requirements

• Relevant senior-level experience within an NGO or international organisation.
• Expertise in grants management, partnership, and/or coordination.
• Exposure to complex humanitarian contexts.
• Background with national, international, and local civil society organisations.
• Experience and knowledge of the Palestine and Middle East context.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
• Legal eligibility to work in Palestine.

NRC has been present in Palestine since 2009, providing humanitarian assistance and promoting respect for international law in one of the longest-running displacement crises in modern history. NRC’s work includes emergency preparedness and response, implementing programming directly and in collaboration with partners in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza across five core competencies: Shelter & Site Management; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene; Information, Counselling, & Legal Assistance; Protection from Violence; and Education.

NRC Palestine implements programming both directly and through a wide network of over 20 partners. Last year, NRC served nearly 600,000 unique program participants.
