About the role

This is a senior revenue-driving role responsible for owning and growing Paramount's strategic relationships across the buy-side landscape within programmatic. The Director of Platform Partnerships will be accountable for securing and expanding key DSP accounts, closing high-impact deals, and delivering revenue growth across Paramount's programmatic sales channels in the CTV marketplace. Drawing on a deep, established network within the streaming TV ecosystem, this leader will serve as one of Paramount's authorities on programmatic—identifying emerging opportunities, forging new partnerships, and capitalizing on the rapid evolution of CTV advertising.

This role carries direct revenue ownership and operates with a high degree of autonomy, interfacing cross-functionally with Sales, Yield, Operations, Product, and Legal to align programmatic strategy with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue across Paramount's portfolio of DSP partnerships—setting account strategies, closing incremental business, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for select Paramount DSP relationships, leading high-stakes negotiations and securing long-term partnership commitments.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new buy-side partnerships and incremental revenue streams, leveraging a well-established network to accelerate deal velocity and expand Paramount's programmatic footprint.
  • Drive platform-level account strategy across all DSP partners, including deal creation, deal optimization, escalation resolution, and collateral documentation.
  • Act as a senior advisor to Paramount's programmatic sales teams, championing DSP capabilities and best practices to maximize sell-through and revenue yield.
  • Develop and maintain authoritative knowledge resources and strategic guidance documents supporting buy-side activations across Paramount's sales organization.
  • Own executive-level revenue reporting dashboards and trend analysis across DSP partnerships, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Lead strategic initiatives in partnership with the VPs on the Platform Partnership team, including priority product rollouts and go-to-market strategies designed to sharpen Paramount's competitive position.
  • Leverage deep expertise in the CTV landscape to advise on market positioning, identify whitespace opportunities, and guide internal stakeholders on the direction of programmatic demand.
  • Collaborate with internal Yield, Product, and Operations teams to architect scalable solutions and processes that support continued partner growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Ad Tech or programmatic advertising, with meaningful tenure in a revenue-generating or partnership leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing business, securing strategic accounts, and delivering against revenue targets within the programmatic or CTV ecosystem.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Qualifications

  • Robust, senior-level network across DSPs, SSPs, agencies, and the broader buy-side ecosystem; ability to open doors and accelerate deal cycles through established relationships.
  • Deep, nuanced understanding of the CTV advertising landscape—including inventory dynamics, measurement frameworks, identity solutions, and the competitive DSP/SSP environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Demand Side Platform operations, including campaign execution, deal structures, private marketplace mechanics, and buy-side optimization strategies.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and accountable; able to manage a complex portfolio of partners and initiatives without sacrificing quality or responsiveness.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in Excel, Google Collaborative Apps, and experience extracting data from databases using SQL.
  • Exceptional communicator and executive presence; adept at telling compelling stories with data and influencing senior audiences across both internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to independently identify, pursue, and close new lines of business with a high level of initiative and commercial drive.
