Partner – Trusts & Estates Litigation Attorney

About the role

Independently manage a Trusts & Estates Litigation caseload from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Take and/or defend depositions.
• Appear in court and at hearings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and related submissions.
• Conduct legal research.
• Supervise and mentor a team of associates and paralegals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sophisticated Trusts & Estates Litigation experience.
• Significant Surrogate's Court experience.
• Experience with estate administration, including estate tax matters, is a plus.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic.
