Partner/Senior Counsel

About the Role

This is a full-time, remote position based in California for an experienced litigator to independently manage a full caseload and handle complex civil matters.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload from initial client intake through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex civil matters.
• Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Represent clients at trial and effectively advocate in court.
• Provide strategic legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction(s).
• 10+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling real estate, construction, or landlord-tenant litigation.
• Proven ability to independently manage cases from inception through trial.
• Trial experience and strong courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
