  • Responsibilities

    This person will develop relationships with buyers and vendor management at major retailers. This person is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing strategic partnerships with external companies (retailers), achieving mutual business goals by fostering strong relationships, identifying new opportunities for collaboration, maximizing referrals from the retailer and ensuring partner satisfaction through effective communication and ongoing support. The person in this role will essentially act as a liaison between our company and our partners to maximize the value of the partnership.

    • Sales - explore new opportunities with existing retailer partners.
    • Sales - prospect, develop and close business opportunities with new retailers.

    Mandatory Skills

    • 2+ years sales experience, selling to retailers (e.g. apparel or other vendor sales)
    • Teamwork and good communication skills are a must.
    • Four year university/college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to visit customers and prospects in New York City and the tri-state area.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision.

    Additional Skills

    • Previous apparel, retail, logistics or import business experience is a plus.
    • ERP software sales experience a plus
    • 2+ years team management skills

      Compensation

      $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
