Partner/Of Counsel - Immigration (Cincinnati)

About the role

Taft is seeking an experienced Partner or Counsel to join its Immigration group in the Cincinnati office.

Responsibilities

• Handle Nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2)
• Manage Immigrant petitions (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM labor certifications)
• Knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures (USCIS, DOL, DOS processes)
• Strong client communication and case management abilities
• Experience working with corporate clients, HR teams, and global mobility programs
• Ability to handle complex RFE (Requests for Evidence) and audit responses

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience practicing immigration law
• Focus on business/employment-based immigration

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures (USCIS, DOL, DOS processes)
• Experience managing cases with high attention to detail and deadlines
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience working with corporate clients, HR teams, and global mobility programs
• Ability to handle complex RFE (Requests for Evidence) and audit responses
