Partner/Of Counsel - Immigration (Cincinnati)
About the role
Taft is seeking an attorney with 8+ years of experience practicing immigration law, with a strong focus on business/employment-based immigration. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience handling Nonimmigrant visas (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2) and Immigrant petitions (e.g., EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM labor certifications).
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures (USCIS, DOL, DOS processes)
- Experience managing cases with high attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong client communication and case management abilities
- Experience working with corporate clients, HR teams, and global mobility programs
- Ability to handle complex RFE (Requests for Evidence) and audit responses
