Responsibilities
- Own the clinical research and evaluation agenda for global health initiatives
- Design evaluations and validation frameworks for clinical AI in LMICs with research teams
- Develop metrics connecting AI model outputs to real-world health outcomes
- Manage global research partnerships and engage with regulatory bodies like WHO
- Collaborate with teams to enhance company's effectiveness in clinical environments
- Contribute strategically across the wider global health portfolio
Qualifications
- Medical training (MD, GP, MBBS, DO, or equivalent) with experience in low-resource settings
- Understanding of clinical workflows in LMICs and their impact on AI design
- Experience validating clinical AI/ML tools and ensuring their safety
- Expertise in clinical research and evidence generation for digital health or AI tools
- Knowledge of regulatory processes and ethical standards for clinical AI in LMICs
- Proven ability to build research partnerships with local academic and health organizations
- Strong team orientation and adaptability in ambiguous situations
