Partner Integration Specialist
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Partner Integration Specialist. This position can reside in one of the following offices: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC, and offers a hybrid 3 day in-office/2 day remote working schedule.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager of Partner Integration, the Partner Integration Specialist supports the firm’s lateral integration program across the firm’s robust global platform. This job may require late hours and/or weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the lateral integration manager in executing all global lateral partner integration initiatives.
- Develop and implement individualized integration plans for each lateral partner.
- Provide high-touch support to new lateral partners to facilitate introductions, internal meetings, and initiatives that drive successful integration.
- Track and measure integration progress and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support the firm’s Partner Education Series and other professional development initiatives for lateral partners.
- Collaborate closely with the broader Legal Talent team to ensure consistency, communication, and alignment across recruiting and integration priorities.
- As needed, partner with administrative departments and practice groups to design and execute onboarding and orientation activities for new lateral partners, including welcome communications, orientation schedules, and meeting logistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional services setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional client service focus.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective in a team environment; strong desire to collaborate.
- High level of productivity and strong work ethic.
- Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents, instructions, and manuals; write routine business correspondence; and speak effectively with employees, clients, candidates, and external vendors.
- Comfort interacting with all levels of personnel, including practice group leadership, firm management, and Chiefs.
Pay
- Boston, MA and Chicago, IL: $84,200.00 - $134,600.00
- Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY: $91,500.00 - $146,325.00
- Washington, DC: $87,800.00 - $140,450.00
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package.
