This is an opportunity designed for attorneys who have outgrown their current platform, whether that's a solo practice, a boutique, or a mid-sized firm, and are ready to amplify their reach without sacrificing the autonomy that drives their success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex insurance coverage matters for carrier clients
- Drive business development strategy to grow the firm's South Carolina presence
- Deliver coverage opinions, advise clients through intricate policy interpretation and dispute scenarios
- Represent clients in negotiation, mediation, and dispute resolution
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national practice areas to deliver integrated, full-service solutions
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active South Carolina Bar admission (or eligibility for prompt admission)
- Minimum of six years of substantive experience in insurance coverage law, with a strong track record of providing coverage opinions for carrier clients
- A portable book of business with established client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and deepen existing client relationships
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset
Pay
