About the Role
This is a confidential search for a Partner Attorney. If your background and experience meet the main requirements, you will lead and grow a sophisticated legal practice in one or more areas aligned with the firm’s strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a legal practice in employment, real estate, estate planning, corporate/business, litigation, tax, regulatory, or other complementary practice areas.
- Serve as a trusted legal and business advisor to clients, including entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, executives, investors, developers, families, and multi-state organizations.
- Handle and oversee complex client matters such as transactions, counseling, negotiations, disputes, planning, regulatory matters, and strategic risk management.
- Expand and deepen existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities and collaborating across the firm’s practices.
- Work closely with colleagues in corporate, litigation, tax, regulatory, real estate, and other practices to identify cross-selling opportunities and provide integrated legal solutions.
- Mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals, contribute to the firm’s culture and leadership, and help shape the long-term growth of the practice and firm.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable portable book of business of at least $500,000 in annual collections, with established client relationships and a consistent record of originating work.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Partner-level attorney with substantial experience in one or more relevant practice areas, such as employment law, commercial real estate, estate planning, corporate/business law, litigation, tax, or regulatory.
- Strong record of developing, managing, and growing client relationships, with a credible plan for continued growth on the firm’s platform.
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated legal matters while delivering pragmatic, responsive, and business-oriented advice.
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset with interest in cross-selling, mentoring, and contributing to a growing firm.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and client-management skills.
- Experience advising clients in highly regulated, entrepreneurial, middle-market, real estate, healthcare, consumer products, emerging-industry, or closely held business environments is a plus.
