Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 20 years and is the largest operating program in the US. Our North Bay business started in 2023 by a local Novato mom and lifelong soccer player, and has experienced exciting growth over the past 2 years offering our program at local schools and cities throughout Marin and Sonoma County.

About the role

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach who will help lead our little stars in fun and educational activities in a non-competitive environment. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children and/or youth sports, is extremely reliable and has a positive, engaging energy. Become a local face for the fastest growing youth soccer program in the North Bay.

Responsibilities

• Lead each class following our customized, age-appropriate enrichment curriculum focused on developing the whole child
• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success
• Use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success
• Have a blast, be open-minded, open to feedback, and strive to be better by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children and/or youth sports
• Extremely reliable with positive, engaging energy
• Background check required

Schedule

Classes are held during morning and after-school hours on weekdays, and/or on weekend mornings. Ideal candidates have availability on some of the following times:

• Monday-Friday: 1pm-5pm
• Weekends: 9:00am-1pm

Location

Classes are held at local schools, parks, and recreational centers in Marin and Sonoma Counties. Coaches may be expected to travel up to 15 miles each way to get to a class location.

Pay

• Assistant Coach: starts at $25 per/hour, includes a daily commute stipend
• Lead Coach (after training and onboarding): $30-$35 per/class
