Part-Time Youth Soccer Coach in Marin County

About the Role

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. You’ll laugh, break a sweat, and go home knowing you made a difference. Coaching our kids will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

Location: San Rafael, Corte Madera, and Sausalito (Marin County). Local candidates only (no work status or visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

Hours between Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm (and Sat/Sun 9am-12pm). Must be available to work one day out of the weekend. A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

• Mondays through Fridays: mornings, afternoons, and evenings are optional
• Saturdays: mornings are required
• Flexibility to change availability from season to season (winter/spring/summer/fall)
• Sessions scheduled closest to you

Pay

Competitive base pay:

• Training rate: $22/hour
• After training: $25/hour (including admin and setup/breakdown time)
• Pay can be up to $35/hour through advancement

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with enthusiasm and creativity
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
• Utilize Soccer Shots’ expert-created curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers
