Part-Time Youth Program Instructor
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Scranton's Center for Business Development and Community Outreach is seeking part time Youth Program Instructors. These Youth Program Instructors are creative educators, who are enthusiastic and have a desire to teach children ages 6 – 16 to increase their interest and knowledge in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Instructors work with the Center’s staff to develop curriculum and monitor the program. Instructors are also responsible for supervising camp counselors. Camps run weekly July 8th through August 2nd, 2024, Training will take place prior to the first week of camp.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experienced educators only
- Camp teaching experience preferred
- Participation in Mandated Reporter Training for this camp season and successful completion of background checks is a requirement for the position

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
