About the role
A part-time Wellness Nurse (LPN/RN) supporting the Resident Services Department at a senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Resident Services staff, including CNAs.
- Assist with medication management and resident self-administration.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians.
- Report significant incidents and resident changes to leadership.
- Support resident assessments, service plans, and clinical recertifications.
- Contribute to staff hiring, training, and performance management.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and scheduling.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ensure high resident satisfaction.
- Support safety and emergency procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the appropriate state.
- CPR and first aid certification.
- At least two years of clinical experience; assisted living or long-term care experience preferred.
