Part Time Wellness Nurse

About the Role

Support Resident Care Services in a senior living community by supervising staff, managing medications, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Services staff, including CNAs, and assist with medication management and resident self-administration.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians; report significant incidents or changes in resident needs.
• Assist with resident assessments, service plans, and clinical recertifications per state requirements.
• Support hiring, training, and performance management of department staff, including onboarding new associates.
• Participate in training, in-service programs, and staff meetings; assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and support residents and families to ensure high satisfaction.
• Supervise care provision during shifts, ensuring quality resident care and compliance.

Requirements

• Licensed RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
• Passion for working with seniors.
