Part-Time Warehouse Associate- Hauppauge, NY

Responsibilities

• Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm shipments match purchase orders.
• Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
• Use radio frequency (RF) guns to pull product from goods-to-person or pallet areas to fulfill customer orders.
• Ensure all customer orders are pulled efficiently and accurately.
• Palletize customer material based on delivery routes, handling all items properly.
• Stage customer orders in an organized manner at the proper dock locations.
• Safely load pallets onto trucks using the last in, first out method.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety in all job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 lbs., and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (training provided).

This role is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.

Pay

$20–$23/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
