About the role

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role ensures the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to customer shipment.

Pay

Anticipated hourly range: $20.00 – $20.60 per hour (includes shift differential). Pay is determined by geographical location, relevant education, experience, skills, and internal pay equity.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (e.g., order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider) as required by job duties.
  • Work in a refrigerated environment (36°F–42°F) for up to 10 hours or longer, and in a freezer (5°F) for 30-minute increments followed by a 10-minute break.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates working knowledge or proficiency in assigned areas of responsibility; may require material handling equipment certification.
  • Accurately performs multiple operational tasks.
  • Demonstrates basic material handling, packaging, and warehouse equipment skills.
  • Performs warehouse operations functions within facility guidelines.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working at heights of 20–30 feet regularly.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with technologies (e.g., computers, point-of-sale systems) is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
