Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-line phone system
• Greet clients with a positive attitude
• Ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Manage appointment schedules
• Handle financial transactions
• Keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently
• Be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible
• Be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own

Requirements

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred
• A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required
