Job Description
- Pet restraint
- Triage incoming patients
- Collection and analysis of lab samples
- Diagnostic imaging
- Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases
- Administration of medications
- Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Anesthetic management
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year experience in veterinary assistant duties.
- Willing to learn and grow within our clinic and keep a positive attitude.
- May lead to a full-time position in the future.
- Communication and team work are a must here at Heartland Pet Hospital, we like for everyone to understand the "why," they are completing a task or providing client education to our wonderful clientele.
