Part-Time Veterinarian

Berkeley Dog & Cat Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Veterinarian to join our locally led care team in Berkeley, CA. This role offers predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment, allowing you to stay clinically engaged while maintaining work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Communicate with and educate clients
• Conduct diagnostic procedures and surgery
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Handle pharmacy duties, including prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations

Requirements

• Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
• Current State Veterinary License
• DEA registration (must be obtained and maintained)
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
