About the Clinic

The Pet Care Center Clinic Esplanade, serving the Metairie community since 1958, is a practice built on dedication to delivering the highest quality medical care available. We are an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, voluntarily undergoing rigorous evaluations to meet or exceed the global benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine. Only about 15% of hospitals achieve this status, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence across surgery, patient care, diagnostic imaging, and emergency services. The clinic is fully equipped for sophisticated testing and diagnostics, urgent care, and pet emergencies, often offering same-day availability for critical needs.

Our collaborative structure includes seven veterinarians, led by an experienced Lead Veterinarian, ensuring supportive mentorship and ample opportunities for clinical discussion. We prioritize detailed client service, including follow-up phone calls, and provide the resources to focus entirely on high-quality patient outcomes across a broad spectrum of services, from wellness and prevention to advanced care and complex surgical procedures.

The hospital is located in Metairie, a lively community right outside New Orleans, Louisiana, offering a culturally rich region renowned for its music, cuisine, and vibrant celebrations.
