Part Time Van Delivery Driver

About the role

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is seeking a Van Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or a related field. A valid unrestricted Standard Operator’s License is required, along with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurately located and picked orders to Wholesale customers
• Build and maintain good customer relationships
• Accurately deliver GFS products with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale
• Securely handle and merchandise products, maintaining proper inventory levels and quality
• Participate in store operations before or after completing the delivery route

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and use a two-wheel cart with a load up to 350 pounds

Pay & Schedule

• $17-18/hr
• Store Hours: Monday through Saturday 7AM-8PM; Sunday 9AM-6PM
• Holidays Off: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter
