Part Time Van Delivery Driver

Job Summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a Van Delivery Driver at 5885 Merchants St, Florence, KY, 41042-1294. The position requires Sunday availability and operates Monday through Saturday from 7AM-8PM; Sunday from 9AM-6PM. Holidays are closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurately located and picked orders to Wholesale customers
• Build and maintain good customer relationships
• Accurately deliver GFS products to ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections of the van and equipment
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale
• Secure assets including cash, checks, and merchandise according to policies and procedures
• Maintain proper rotation and product quality, execute end caps and planograms, top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom organization in the store

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and use a two-wheel cart with a load up to 350 pounds
